The Swedish Media Market

The situation in Sweden is similar to that in many other countries, where the media scene is undergoing significant change and competition is extremely strong.

Sweden has a large number of newspapers and magazines. There are about 170 newspapers with a total circulation of 4,1 million. The daily press has a stable readership with a daily reach of 88 per cent.
